One of Meade's best friends from childhood, Lara Phillips, is also currently living in England with her family, in Bristol, which is about 2 hours from us. We enjoyed a day of exploring the town and walking along the river. Bristol has an edgy, free and bright sort of feeling about it, different from other British cities I think. There happened to be a folk dancing festival going on, which was quite fun to watch. Linnea and Aaron loved playing with their 18 month old son, Andres.
